What is Longevity Zagreb?

Longevity Zagreb is a free, science based community for people who want to bring world-class longevity science to one of Central Europe's most underrated cities. Zagreb is compact, walkable, and full of character, with a strong medical tradition anchored by the University of Zagreb, a growing startup and tech scene, and an emerging, refreshingly affordable wellness scene. This chapter of the Longevity Cities network brings the science into that momentum.

We run regular free meetups, expert talks, and hands on workshops on biological age, nutrition, biohacking, sleep, and recovery. The crowd spans researchers, clinicians, founders, and curious newcomers who believe living well and living long should not be a privilege reserved for bigger cities. No gatekeeping, no guru culture, no fees. Just honest, science based conversations about what actually works, and a community that shows up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Longevity Zagreb?+
Longevity Zagreb is a free, science based community and the Zagreb chapter of the Longevity Cities network. We bring together people across the Croatian capital who care about healthspan, biohacking, and prevention through regular meetups, expert talks, and community challenges. With a strong medical tradition and a growing startup scene, everyone curious about living longer and better is welcome, with no fees and no prior knowledge needed.
Is Longevity Zagreb a longevity club or a health club?+
Think of us as a longevity club in the community sense, not a paid gym or private health club. Membership is free and open to everyone in Zagreb. We are not a clinic and we sell nothing. What you get is a real network of like minded people, regular events, and honest, science based information about longevity.
Where can I find longevity doctors, clinics or treatments in Zagreb?+
We are a community, not a medical provider, so we do not offer treatments or run a longevity clinic. Zagreb has a solid medical base, with growing private clinics and labs and a wellness scene that is more affordable than in most Western European capitals, and our members regularly compare notes on who is worth seeing. Come to an event or browse our community Spots map to find longevity friendly practitioners, labs, and studios across the city.
What longevity events, meetups and biohacking sessions happen in Zagreb?+
Our Zagreb calendar mixes social and educational formats: meetups, expert talks, and biohacking sessions on topics like biological age, VO2max, nutrition, and sleep. Events are free and announced here, in our events feed, and in the Zagreb WhatsApp group. If you have searched for longevity or biohacking events in Zagreb, this is where to find them.
Is Longevity Zagreb free?+
Yes. Longevity Zagreb is completely free, and almost all of our events are free too. We believe longevity knowledge and community should not sit behind a paywall, so there is never a membership fee to take part.
How do I join Longevity Zagreb?+
Create a free account, join the Zagreb WhatsApp group, or simply show up at the next event. All three work, and there is no application or approval step. Following us on Instagram or LinkedIn keeps you posted on new dates.
Where can I test my biological age in Zagreb (DEXA, VO2max, bloodwork)?+
Zagreb has a growing set of options for DEXA scans, VO2max testing, and longevity bloodwork, often at prices below the Western European average, and members share recommendations and group discounts. Our community Spots map highlights labs, gyms, and studios around the city, and we sometimes organize group testing at events. Ask in the community and you will get honest, first hand pointers.
Are Longevity Zagreb events in English or Croatian?+
Events run in English or Croatian depending on who is in the room, with most talks in English to keep them open to Zagreb's international community. The chapter connects researchers, clinicians, athletes, and curious locals around the science of healthy aging. Membership is free and open to everyone in Croatia.
