What is Longevity Boston?

Longevity Boston is a free, science based community for anyone who wants to add healthy years to their life. Boston is where science gets serious: home to Harvard and MIT, the world's densest biotech cluster around Kendall Square, and the Longwood medical area, it is a city where the line between cutting edge research and real world practice is thinner than almost anywhere.

We run regular free meetups, expert talks, and hands on workshops on biological age, biohacking, nutrition, sleep, and recovery. The crowd is a mix of researchers, clinicians, biotech founders, students, and curious beginners who are used to high standards and expect nothing less. No gatekeeping, no guru culture, no fees. Just honest, science based conversations about what actually works, and a community that shows up.

Is Longevity Boston a longevity club or a health club?+
Think of us as a longevity club in the community sense, not a paid gym or private health club. Membership is free and open to everyone across Greater Boston. We are not a clinic and we sell nothing. What you get is a real network of research minded people from Cambridge to Longwood, regular events, and honest, science based information about longevity.
Where can I find longevity doctors, clinics or treatments in Boston?+
We are a community, not a medical provider, so we do not offer treatments or run a longevity clinic. Boston has a serious scene of longevity doctors, academic hospitals, and preventive health practices, anchored by the Longwood medical area and world class teaching hospitals, and our members regularly compare notes on who is worth seeing. Come to an event or browse our community Spots map to find longevity friendly practitioners and labs across Boston.
What longevity events, meetups and biohacking sessions happen in Boston?+
Our Boston calendar mixes social and educational formats: meetups, expert talks with researchers and clinicians from the local science scene, and biohacking sessions on topics like biological age, VO2max, nutrition, and sleep. Events are free and announced here, in our events feed, and in the Boston WhatsApp group. If you have searched for longevity or biohacking events in Boston, this is where to find them.
Is Longevity Boston free?+
Yes. Longevity Boston is completely free, and almost all of our events are free too. We believe longevity knowledge and community should not sit behind a paywall, so there is never a membership fee to take part in Greater Boston.
How do I join Longevity Boston?+
Create a free account, join the Boston WhatsApp group, or simply show up at the next event. All three work, and there is no application or approval step. Following us on Instagram or LinkedIn keeps you posted on new Boston dates.
Where can I test my biological age in Boston (DEXA, VO2max, bloodwork)?+
Boston has strong options for DEXA scans, VO2max testing, and longevity bloodwork, from university affiliated labs to sports performance centers, and members often share recommendations and group discounts. Our community Spots map highlights labs and studios around the city, and we sometimes organize group testing at events. Ask in the community and you will get honest, first hand pointers.
Is Longevity Boston connected to the local research scene (Harvard, MIT)?+
Boston is arguably the world capital of aging research, from Harvard and MIT labs to the biotech corridor in Kendall Square, and the chapter lives off that density. Talks regularly feature researchers and clinicians, and journal-style meetups translate new longevity papers into plain language. You do not need a PhD to join, curiosity is enough, and everything is free.
